The Historical Capitol of Minsk, Belarus

This post card that I received is unique for my post card stash. Why? This is the first painting post card that I've received from a foreign country. The painting was done to feature the historical side of Minsk. Belarus has been known to be Belorussia when it has not yet been declared as a new independent republic from Russia.

Belarus has it's own unique form of writing. They don't use the common English alphabet. As the post card was addressed to me, the sender even translated my country from English alphabet to their native alphabet.

It also has 2 wonderful stamps. I am not aware of who the lady in the stamp is, but this is the first black and white stamp that I had, so excitement really thrills me.

Thanks for the post card Katya!
