Christmas Tree

The tradition of erecting, decorating and lighting a coniferous tree (a.k.a. Christmas Tree) started possibly from the Asian and European Areas sometime around the 15th and 16th century. And for years it has been a very extravagant symbol of the Christmas Season. All the department stores, parks, hospitals, offices, airports and hotels are lighted with Christmas trees.

During my walk at the The Fort Global City I came to see this huge Christmas Tree near The Fort Strip. Standing there alone, though lighted, and with a huge abstract Star on its tip.

It was extravagant. It was full of lights. It was one perfect Christmas Tree to behold. But regardless of how big, how well-lighted, how decorative the tree might be it is still the essence of having the family together around a Christmas Tree - laughing, cheering, eating, giggling and enjoying each others company that makes Christmas more meaningful.

Sharing with you our humble yet beautifully decorated Christmas Tree which for almost my entire lifetime has been at our home during Christmas. Lighting our gifts, our smiles and our faces as a family with love, hope and kindness to each other. Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday Jesus and Happy Noche Buena! ^_^
