Big Apple Express Spa

Aside from restaurants, I have been also an avid fan of Massage and Spa Services. Yes, I do have my favorite - The Enso Spa of Libis, but I also find time to try other services and other spa houses.

After my long walk and long wait at the Market! Market! area in Taguig, my body is really looking for some pampering. I was vying for some foot spa but the prices of the foot spa services are not too different to have a full body massage so there I was seeking for a full body massage.

The Big Apple Express Spa offers massages for as low as Php149 - this is what posters say however this is just a foot massage if you look into their services menu so don't be deceived.

Their facilities is not too shabby. Having just about around 30sqm of space to render spa services their space is so limited so expect that there be no shower rooms, sauna or even a bathroom. I believe there are only about four (4) massage rooms. The lounge was also very small that if you want to have some foot spa done to you, you have to sit exactly at the back of the entrance door where customers enter - yes, not too relaxing isn't it? I'm glad I didn't avail of the foot spa services. :)

First I was to avail the Manhattan Full Body Massage for only Php299, however I was informed that it is executed more with stretching and not with hand pressure. So me being not fond of Thai massages - which more or less are doing stretching moves, I tried the Balinese Full Body Massage for Php499 - which are more into hand pressures.

Gladly, the massage went out well and relaxing. I love the way the therapists performed the hard pressures on my back which are very much aching. It felt like heaven to me after the treatment was done. I will never forget the name of that therapist which is Janice.

However, I cannot have the best of both worlds. I can have this good therapist but without the nice facilities and ambiance of Enso. Still, I would rather be at Enso and have some massages done by Apple or Jackie. If only I can bring Janice to Enso Spa - I would love to have her as my therapist all the time. :)
