Say Hello to Vilnius - the Capital of Lithuania

I am not aware of European countries. Most of the time I can only say that of France, Germany, Britain as the common countries that I know of. Receiving a card from Lithuania encouraged me to research something about this uncommon country for me. I was thrilled to see that this Vilnius is the largest city of that country.

I have also been keen to check out the historical landmarks found around the capitol. I love how this postcard shows the different famous landmarks all in just one card. The white building on the center is the Vilnius Cathedral. The brown structure below it is the St. Anne Church. I am thrilled to know that the Vilnius Cathedral is the main Catholic Cathedral of Lithuania. How cool is that? I've learned a lot from this country, and has been inspired to know a little something about the place that my sender came from.

I was thrilled to see that the stamp on its back is something from Finland (since my sender is a native Lithuanian who travels around Finland) and another Aurora Borealis scenery! Weee! I am getting attached to the beauty of this phenomenon!

Thanks Drebantis!
