Wicked Kitchen

I got the chance to eat at the new Wicked Kitchen branch in La Vista. After a long day of work, we decided to try out that resto on the 2nd floor of Petron Katipunan. The branch was still on dry run and is only accepting cash transactions at that time.

The place was pretty neat and well designed. The crews are very attentive and friendly. The food was served just about the right amount of time. And finally the taste...

We ordered the Crunchy Bagoong Rice and the Mongolian Rice. It came to me that the name "wicked" in Wicked Kitchen was not as wicked at all. Yes the food was superbly designed and prepared. The crescent bowl make it more elegantly served. But in terms of its taste quality, nah. It seems that I have tasted more delicious Bagoong Rice in SM Foodcourts. As for the Mongolian Rice, it was more of a Squid Balls Rice to me. No taste was lasting for it though. For that food quality served, the price is unworthily high.

With its name I was really expecting something wickedly delicious, tasty and yummy. I am afraid it was not. Everything we ate was wickedly ordinary.
