Jang Gun - Korean Restaurant

Having been open to eating korean foods nowadays bring us a lot more confidence in eating at Korean Restaurants. There are a lot of varieties in terms of Korean Cuisine, but I like it more when the food is spicy and a lot of appetizers are being served.

We stopped by at Jang Gun, again months ago, to satisfy our craving palette for something spicy. Jang Gun is along Libis, and during that time that we ate was still open - it was closed around 3 months after we ate there due to a notice from BIR, maybe due to taxes concerns of the establishment. At any rate, this is what we ordered:
Free appetizers
Ojingo Chulpan (sizzling squid)
Bul-Samgyubsal (thin slice spicy pork belly)
Free dessert
Here's their menu:

The food is okay. Just the typical Korean taste but nothing tasteful. I still like the meal I've tasted at Ye Dang (near Metrowalk). However, the interiors of Jang Gun is pretty with a huge fountain in the middle of the 2nd floor where people dine in. There are even stone gravels on the floor to make you feel like in a Korean Garden. :)
